This easy DoubleTree Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe for a tasty snack any day! These taste just like the warm cookies you get in their locations.

You may have heard recently that the Doubletree Hotel chain released their chocolate cookie recipe so I just had to try it! This recipe is their recipe but I did make one change.

Hello Friends! How is your week going? We are enjoying the cool weather of the season and enjoying watching our sports. There is nothing like getting together with family and friends around the television to enjoy a good game.

Today’s recipe is an easy one when you are looking for a tasty cookie! I love simple recipes like this one because I can use ingredients I already have on hand and the amount of clean up is minimal. This cookie has a few more ingredients than your typical chocolate chip cookie, but it is worth the extra time and is delicious!

Today’s recipe is a wonderful cookie recipe that is perfect for a lunch box snack or a cookie exchange.

List of main ingredients:

Chocolate Chips – I use semi-sweet baking chips, but milk chocolate chips work well too! Your choice.

Butter – I always prefer real butter for this recipe. You can use unsalted if you want to reduce the sodium, but I typically use salted butter for this recipe. Margarine will work too!

Nuts - The original Doubletree Cookie recipe uses walnuts and I changed them out for pecans. Still delicious but your choice!

  • Line the baking sheet with parchment paper to save time on clean up.
  • You can prepare the batter ahead of time and freeze the cookie dough. Roll into balls and freeze on a cookie sheet. Then place frozen cookie dough balls in a freezer safe sealed container.

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks butter
  • ¾ cup plus 1 tablespoon sugar
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 ¼ cups flour
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • pinch cinnamon
  • 2 ⅔ cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 ¼ cups chopped pecans

Instructions

  • 1. In a medium, mixing bowl, cream butt4er eggs and sugars.

  • 2. Add vanilla and lemon juice and blend.

  • 3. Add flour, oats, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon and blend well.

  • 4. Gently fold in chocolate chips and nuts.

  • 5. Roll into 1 " balls and place on cookie sheet

  • 6. Bake for 20-24 minutes until edges are golden brown.

  • 7. Let cool before serving.

    I have always heard of this but I have never stayed at one of their hotels, I think. I do love the concept because I remember going to a little inn in Vermont that had freshly baked cookies. It's the best touch! And fun to make them at home.
